Fire Precautions

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There has been a lot in the media recently about fire precautions in hotels.  We would like to reassure our guests that all possible precautions have been taken to ensure their safety.

All internal doors are 1/2 hour fire doors with intermessant strips and door closers
Mains fire alarm with sensors in all rooms (tested weekly)
Fire extinguishers on both floors (serviced annually)
Emergency lighting to light the escape route in case of power cut
Clear signage with instructions in case of fire

Additionally:

All gas appliances are tested annually by a CORGI registered engineer and we have a landlord's gas safety certificate.
All our portable electrical equipment is tested annually (PAT tested).
The house electrics are NIC IEE certified.
